5CL Alembic Miniature Support
The alembic was developed circa 800 AD by the Persian alchemist Jabiribn Hayyan; its modern descendant (used to produce alcohol) is the pot still. The modern pot still is a descendant of the alembic, a distillation device invented around the eighth century AD for use in alchemy. This miniature support is lacquered like all of our products, it measures approx 140mm in height and will take most round miniature bottles.

This model is based on the other spirit still in production at Glenfiddich. This represents the 'Boil-Ball' design and can be seen in many of the Scottish distilleries such as Glen Grant, Talisker, Knockando, Strathisla and many more. It is lacquered and will take most round miniature bottles.

5CL Pot Still Miniature Support
This model is based on one of the two types of spirit still in production at the famous Glenfiddich Distillery. This design is described as a 'Lampglass' still and can also be seen at Glenlivet, Oban and many other Distilleries. It measures approx 130mm high and the coil has an inside diameter of approx 39mm. The copper is lacquered which will prevent any tarnishing.
